It’s A Jeep Thing

The beginning of this week felt like the middle of summer, a nice send-off into the autumn ahead!

Working in the heat all day our crews in Guelph returned to the yard on Monday afternoon for a BBQ, courtesy of Chef Jeff (Branch Manager in Guelph).

We had some extra visitors at this gathering, with Grant, Deborah, Fred, Andrew, and Nathan joining the party. These BBQ’s are an enjoyable time to kick back together as a team and connect with team members we don’t spend as much time with. It’s a good time to get to know one another and also understand the different perspectives that each role brings to the table when it comes to caring for our customers.

That afternoon also served as a time to say goodbye to one of our own. We celebrated with Heather and wished her well in her future with cake & ice cream.

The highlight of this month’s BBQ was that the Jeep Willy made its way down to Guelph! Nathan took advantage of the beautiful day to tour up north in the radio free, non-airconditioned mascot of Gelderman. There were three jeeps in the parking lot that afternoon!

As a company, we’re starting to switch gears as the cooler weather moves in and we’re always thinking toward the future. It look’s bright!
