Bruce joined the team at Gelderman Landscape Services in March 2016 as their Lead Horticulturist. Bruce comes with over 25 years of horticultural experience in both public and private situations.

He obtained his Horticulture Diploma from Niagara Collage and began his career at Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington/Hamilton as Head Gardener in 1975. He continued his horticulture career at RBG until 2003. Since he left RBG he has managed 2 large Private Estates as their Private Horticulturist/Property Manager and was Horticulturist at a private golf course north of Oakville.

Bruce is a long time member of Landscape Ontario and volunteer and board member of the International Lilac Society. Bruce and his spouse, Margaret, are avid travelers and photographers and have traveled to all 7 continents.

Bruce comments that he has been maintaining private properties and a golf course for the last 12 years and it has opened his eyes to many different horticultural practices. Now he has this opportunity with Gelderman Landscape Services to do the same at many more excellent properties. Maybe seasonal plant containers all around your property (Spring, Summer, Autumn and Christmas!) or planting this fall for a large group of spring daffodils next spring.
